  • I had silence for the past 2.5 years (remote work) and my tinnitus is about the same and has not improved. Does this point to anything?
Three-year anniversary. There is only one option in dealing with tinnitus until a cure is found - to learn to accept it.
Reading "Chicken Soup for the Soul: Think Positive, Live Happy" is helping. Quite a few health related pieces in there.
Ears rumbling/vibrating and the sound is fast/intense...is this TTTS?
    Bill Bauer
If this is triggered by noises (e.g., the sound of your own voice), then the answer is "yes."
My uncle texted me saying he hears the BEATLES in his ears, later he clarified hears beetle/cricket noise.

The Beatles would be a lovely type of tinnitus
When I yawn, right ear rings higher. When I sneeze, left ear rings higher. Any theories?
    Lynny
Only thing I can think of when increases in t during sneezing/yawning is because it blocks out outside noises and is similar to plugging your ears -> hence it becomes louder
    Lynny
But different reactions in both ears, that's interesting
Opened a plastic container of berries which made a loud pop, immediately triggered a new layer of HP sound...reactive T or hyperacusis?
Plugged my ear with finger and frequency changed immediately...anyone else?

my tinnitus is gone when im doing this
Just inserted foam ear plugs into my ears...as I tapped the ear plugs in my ears, Heard new high pitch ring sounds....is this common?

Yeah, don't try and listen for it when you take them out. I have a few new tones when I wear earplugs.
Anyone find that when they are focusing on something else, their T gets louder and it kind of takes them by surprise?
Last three days, most productive I've been at work. T blaring this afternoon, but I was able to focus.
