Folowing ringing in my ears for a good two days. Saturday night came back around and I went out. The ringing just never went away after that.
That was in 2006, and one year later I was traveling the world and honestly I lived a my life as if i had never had T (a fan at night is all i needed) the T was not gone nore was it forgotten, just very mild and hardly impacked on my in my life.
Then in 2017 I was working at a beer festival with a live rock band, I had up till then avoided loud environments. Complacency leed to me bing in there all day.....one week later the ringing was back in the forfront of my mind. Extremely high pitched and it got to a leavel where I can remember describing it as a screeching in my head at night. The more I masked it the louder it got.
Jump forward to 2020. I really wanted to join a group like this to tell my story and give hope to new members with a similar experience as me. I was back to being able to sit and watch TV, work silently in my office, sleep and wake peacefully and happly, I would even find my self sitting in a quite room ideally scrolling through Facebook or instergram. My tinnitus was not gone. I just did not tune into it anymore, i was happy, very happy! The ringing in my ears had also settled back to what I was used to.
Now (August 2020)....well I did somthing extremely silly. Driving a vintage van to Scotland, which was very very loud for hours on end. Although I had ear defenders (it was that loud I took them with me) stupidly i did not always used them.....i am now back a square one.
