I experience pain in both, but it’s not everyday.

Somehow, pain was never a big deal for me. I have had just a few episodes. Do you think your pain is worse than your tinnitus?

My t is not maskable in close and quiet environments and sometimes I hear it outside too if it’s really quiet. Is it mild or moderate?

I also have TMD, and your tinnitus seems so much like mine. It gives me hope my tinnitus could improve as well (lately, it’s getting worse; no idea why.) How did your tinnitus improve?

Hey @Padraigh Griffin, I think I might have MEM. I don’t really have the normal pulsatile tinnitus. It’s just a thumping sound, not constant, and not synchronized with my heartbeat. It happens a few times during the day. Is this similar to what you had? Also, what professional treats this...

Alright, thank you for the answer! Some antidepressants spike my tinnitus a lot. I will probably stop taking them. I just need something else for sleep. I’ve also been jumping from one sleeping med to another.

Trazodone also spiked my tinnitus. Do you know how long it took to subside? Like days or weeks? And how did Clonazepam help you? Are you still taking it? If so, how regularly?

Didn’t you refer you have hearing loss? Never got some hearing aids for this? I heard they are helpful.

Really? I didn’t know about that. I’ve done several audiograms, but only the normal ones and they have always come back normal. May I ask what’s the better audiogram called? Might ask my doctor about it. If there is hearing loss in those high frequencies, can hearing aids help? Or nah?
