There is no question at all that microsuction caused my hearing loss which brought on tinnitus.

That's what I thought too, but the surgeon said no louder than dentist's drill, but I think a dentist drill could cause tinnitus as well. Who knows, everyone is in denial.

I developed tinnitus after my craniotomy on August 20, 2018 to repair an unruptured aneurysm. Been with me everyday since. Surgeon said he never was close to the hearing area in the brain, but something happened.

I heard Enbrel injections work with the immune system to help with RA and psoriasis. I wonder if Enbrel would help with tinnitus as well?

Whatever you do please do not allow the ENT to do micro suction ear wax removal. It will ruin your ears forever.

@DevHitByTinnitus It’s most definitely from that god awful micro suction. Same happened to me. As soon as that dumb ENT assistant worked on both my ears with that horrible machine, I noticed a huge amount of hearing loss. Had a hearing test two days later and it showed 60% high frequency...

I have the same electrical buzz. I’m sure these are the neurons in our brains over acting and causing this noise. Some say that noise is always the same but it seems louder when you over react to it. That’s BS. This a most definite physical action that’s happening in your brain not your ears...

@Deandy0110 No, 16 months later, hearing loss still there. I now have hearing aids and suffering from high pitch tinnitus 24/7. Microsuction should be outlawed. How’s yours?
