Wow, do you mean the scalene muscle in the neck? I was checking some applications for neck muscles and started to massage the scalene muscle. The next day my 'airplane' tinnitus was gone. I have 3 tones and the biggest was gone.

My Tinnitus Is Unbearable and Getting Worse

I also can't mask my tinnitus (3 different tones). I use magnesium and 1 mg melatonin to sleep better. Besides that I have to accept it's there and that it's not a treat. Anxiety will increase tinnitus, but I can't say if that's the case with you. Also i'm experiencing better days with a diet...

19-Year-Old, Recently Got Tinnitus. What Can I Take Early on to Help?

Same here. All of my friends don't have tinnitus, only me (I do had tinnitus since I was 12, but that was so low). Some experience tinnitus the next day, but it disappears after a day or 2. Better avoid loud places and music. Give your ears rest. Reduce stress and eat healthy too. And yes try to...

    Stopped Eating Sugar, Dairy, Bread

Thank you for your support! I can feel something is happening in my body. I'm feeling a bit sick. My eyes were hurting at day 3. At day 5 my shoulder joints were hurting allot (I skipped the gym, so no pain due to training) some skin diseases are clearing up.

    Stopped Eating Sugar, Dairy, Bread

Hello Jkph75, Yeah your tinnitus sounds very similar, are you hearing the plane sound only in silent rooms or do you hear it all the time? Mine is only noticeable when there is not much background sound. BTW I don't mind if you read my other posts :) No not yet. But tomorrow I'm going to do a...

    Stopped Eating Sugar, Dairy, Bread

I hope it's not sound related, but I have been going to clubs for 10 years. Every Friday and Saturday. After a night out my tinnitus would increase by 200% for a few hours and then it decreases. I also got a small dip in high tones. I tested this at the hospital. So I think it's also sound...

    Stopped Eating Sugar, Dairy, Bread

How are you holding up? I presume it's very hard to adjust to tinnitus if you're a newcomer.

    Stopped Eating Sugar, Dairy, Bread

Thanks for your suggestion. I'll remove salt from my diet and i'll let you know what happens. Removing salt was also on my bucket list. Not for tinnitus, but for overal health.

    Stopped Eating Sugar, Dairy, Bread

I understand, it's horrible. My tinnitus is sometimes at max volume (10/10). I'm used to the spikes now. Now i'm back from work and I checked if my air plane tinnitus was still at 40%, but it's back at 100%. It was a weird experience. For the first time my head was not vibrating and the sound...

    Stopped Eating Sugar, Dairy, Bread

Hey LoneRanger. I don't know the cause. I always had T since I was 12 and I never experienced loud music at that age. Years later I went to allot of bars, clubs and festivals. I'm thinking sound induced, but i'm also thinking it's related to inflammation. As a kid I always had ear problems.

    Stopped Eating Sugar, Dairy, Bread

A week ago I stopped eating sugar, all dairy products, bread and white rice. I chose to remove sugar/bread/white rice from my diet, because I have a candida overgrowth problem and I want to lose weight. I stopped eating dairy products, because I have chronic urticaria (as a kid I had milk...

Help, Can't Seem to Shake Off This Visual Snow Thing

Life is just messing with us. We are playing on hard mode. I also have what you describe (VS, contrast sensitivity). Besides that my eyes can't see very well in the dark now and I'm having a hard time looking at far away objects. Also the star bursts at night are horrible. Better stay positive...

Help, Can't Seem to Shake Off This Visual Snow Thing

It shakes to the left, right and forward. I feel like it's connected to my heartbeath. In the dark the objects i'm focussing on tend to move in the same direction. It's like my brain is shaking. Can you describe yours?
