I actually can relate to this. I used poppers heavily, especially amyl nitrites (pentyl or any other won't cut it for me), and during that time I got tinnitus but it was the same time I went through benzo withdrawal so I did not know what really caused my tinnitus. This was 4 years ago before...

Prednisone gave me a super bad tinnitus spike after taking one pill. Ugh, never again.

Sorry for the super late reply but no, I would never touch a benzo again. It ruined my life by giving me tinnitus. I didn't know these drugs could actually seriously mess up your nervous system. Thank God I now don't have electric tinnitus in my head. That was hard to endure. I told people...

Finally i can say i have now moderate tinnitus from severe. I havent had a bad day in two months

Wearing earplugs now and my T is loud but the earplugs makes it more bearable
