If Your Tinnitus Improved, Did It Improve Very Gradually?

Hello El Buzz, Yes! It has slowly continued to improve. It got worse for a few months, but not as bad as the other times, and now it has dropped back and doesn’t really bother me at all, which is AMAZING. I am grateful for it every day. I hope you are also doing well.

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

They were two separate sections - he talked about the Bluetooth and he also, in a different section, talked about why the treatment can make tinnitus worse (temporarily). Sorry, that wasn’t clear in the way I wrote it.

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

Thanks to @Hazel and everyone involved in producing the podcast. I thought you did a great job of covering the main issues. I was especially interested in the part about the Bluetooth and his theory on why the treatment can make the tinnitus temporarily worse. (I did have to Google “Benelux”...

NICE Tinnitus Assessment and Management Guideline — Feedback Committee

Hi, I don’t have a lot to add (I’m not in the UK). But, I agree with your call for more research and funding of possible treatments for tinnitus. I also like the suggestion above of what NOT to say. My GP (general practitioner) told me that Id always have tinnitus and it would keep getting...

    Mindfulness for Tinnitus Relief

Hi all, I want to do a 30 day mindfulness challenge, where I spend 20 to 30 mins a day doing guided mindfulness meditation focusing on sound, mainly on my tinnitus. I feel like I’m in fight or flight a lot with my tinnitus - I’m scared and panicked. I think that using mindfulness to explore...

Hi Markku I just saw Hazel's post about the interview you are preparing about Lenire. I wanted to know if there is any volunteer work I could do to help with the podcast. I am a fairly fast typer, so I could do transcription. I’m good at writing, project management and researching, so I...

Seeking Balance / Rock Steady — Joey Remenyi

Valeri - I came across a question she got on her Facebook page asking why comments had been disabled on her YouTube vids, and she said it was because people were asking for medical advice. That MAY be true, but she may also be trying to control any negative feedback.

Seeking Balance / Rock Steady — Joey Remenyi

I just wanted to thank everyone on this thread for their balanced opinions on this program. I stumbled on one of her videos on YouTube yesterday, and went down the rabbit hole a bit. I signed up for the free email resources, and listened to them, starting to feel like I was in a slow moving sale...

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

Hi Bartoli. What is the Brai3n clinic? Is that a typo? I’ve googled, and am not coming up with anything.

If Your Tinnitus Improved, Did It Improve Very Gradually?

Thanks everyone for those helpful responses - it does help to know that improvement is often non-linear, so I shouldn't panic if things are a bit worse today!

If Your Tinnitus Improved, Did It Improve Very Gradually?

Hi, If you had tinnitus, and it improved, did it fluctuate as it improved? (With some days bad and some days good, but gradually more and more good days?) My tinnitus seemed to be getting worse, but over the past 2 months I've had one quiet period for 3 days, then a month later another quiet...

    Tinnitus Getting Worse — Why?

Hi, I just wanted to come back and say that since I wrote that post, I started to see some marked changed in my tinnitus. About 3 weeks ago, it dropped by about 70% for three days. Then it came back worse. Then, a week ago, it dropped again and has been quiet for almost a week (I really just...

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

In the research study, people with hyperacusis were super-responders, meaning they responded better than people with just tinnitus.

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

I listened to the Tinnitus Talk interview with Neuromod, quite a few times they mentioned the parameters are set using your hearing level - they don't change depending on tinnitus level. Hope I remembered that correctly!
