The first 3-6 months are the hardest. If you have experienced any improvement compared to how you were feeling a month ago, it ought to continue to improve.
Sure hope that things will get better for you soon. I have had tinnitus for over 8.5 years now. To be honest with you
there have been many good days and many bad days during that time. I believe if you will reach deep within yourself, with the help of God; that you will either recover from tinnitus, or receive the grace you need to live with it; and go on to enjoy your life!
Wish I could exorcise this tinnitus demon out of me :/

There is a good chance that it will fade. It might take 1-3 years though.

I hope you can find some relief. It's a terrible thing to wake up to. Worst thing I've ever experienced and it's been going on for years.
I feel like I've died and went to hell

The first 3-6 months are the worst, but it gets better. There is a good chance that yours will begin fading, and if that happens it ought to continue to fade. Otherwise, many people report habituation at around 2.5-3 year mark.
