I hate it when parents are overly controlling even if I'm 24 and have middle ear myoclonus. I just want to focus on my health rather then pointless crap.

At the very least it didnt make direct contact with my ear canal. If that were the case, then things would have got ugly.

As the sudden bang only lasted a second and didn't come into direct contact directly into my left ear canal, I should hopefully be OK. It was near me, but I imagine a gun going off would have been far worse. Just got to be more mindful in the future.

I have tinnitus from stress and TTTS, I am hoping to get them treated, I dont need an old woman to cause me any more problems. All I asked was to put some olive oil in the ear, not tap on the ear with metal that MAY POTENTIALLY DAMAGE IT. Stupid boomers.
