Already tried steroids, didn't help. Tried valsalva, steaming, tea, all that stuff, and nothing helped. Am-101 made it worse. I am looking for a permanent solution.

I think I've gotten a tympanometry, but I guess they didn't find anything. I always end up going to the doctor when my symptoms aren't acting up.

How exactly can I determine that I have it? And has anyone tried balloon dilation?

It's a clinical trial for a drug that is said to cure tinnitus. They have trials in Europe, but probably not in Africa. You have a sixty percent chance of getting the real drug. I recently participated in the trial. I'm not sure if I got the real drug. You can find out more about it on this site.

Do docs actually still use leeches? Does this work?

Then how do doctors know if you have no ear hair cells?

Can MRIs see if inner ear hair cells are gone?
