I want to sue my doctor for telling me to use a drug in a wrong way which caused my tinnitus. He prescribed "only in outer ear" antibiotic drop through nose which made it reach my inner ear and left me with muffled ears and tinnitus. But I'm sure court will not care as it's invisible condition..

I wish they knew more about the drugs they prescribe in unnecessary cases. My ENT doctor gave me my tinnitus from ototoxic antibiotic. I didn't even had infection, also he directed me to use in wrong way which is through nose. Later I find out it's only for outer ear appliance.

Did it help? I got tinnitus 4 months ago but haven't used prednisone, I know time is important but I'm still considering to try.

@Tamalak How are you doing now? Is your tinnitus still gone? Also you said your doctor put you on steroids, which ones? Did you get steroid injection into ear?

How many milligrams do you take and for how long? I might give it a try. But be careful. I also heard that it has bad side effects. I don't trust any medicine anymore after having tinnitus because of ear drops. I know a guy who also got tinnitus from Neomycin, then used Cortisone and got bad...

Almost 5 months into it. It's only gotten worse, but I really haven't taken care of myself these last 4 months. It has been the worst period of my life in terms of health. I can't sleep, drink alcohol every night, too much stress... and new tones added to my tinnitus.

I also got my tinnitus from 3 days use of Neomycin.

How are you doing right now? Do you still have tinnitus? I also got mine from Neomycin, Polymyxin B.

Ingesting? How long did you use it for? How did you use it, where?

How did you use Neomycin? Eye drop? Ear drop? I also got mine from Neomycin, both ears ringing really bad since then.

How are you feeling right now? Are you conditioned to it? Did it get better in time?
