Same here, I don't recall when it started. As far as I know, I was born with this constant buzzing/ringing in the ear. My mother was more shocked about than myself, it just seemed normal... To the OP, in my experience I notice sugar makes the problem much worse. I'd advise monitoring everything...

It was sometime around 1980 when anyone bothered to ask me if I had ringing in my ears. My mother was there when the doctor asked me this question. She was a bit surprised and asked why didn't you tell me... I've always had ringing in my ears, especially the left ear. It just seemed normal...
