I have tinnitus and hyperacusis. I have had these conditions since 2002. I've recovered twice along the way, but had relapses. Issues were originally caused by medication ototoxicity (tinnitus) and overprotecting (led to increased hyperacusis). Just had a relapse in August of 2021 from taking turmeric for back pain.
