My left ear is noisy as hell. It seems that there is still pain in my left Eustachian tube when doing valsalva maneuver or using EarPopper. Sep 7, 2024 at 5:54 PM

Today diazepam didn’t help my tinnitus. I think it’s more related to my jaw but not positive.

Seems like when I take a diazepam 10mg when I awaken my noise goes down faster.

If I don’t use my elastic jaw advancer my left jaw hurts and left ear screams. I can’t wait for surgery.

Static is horrible. Seems like both ears or head. I wonder if blood pressure pills is causing it?

I always try my EarPopper thinking my left Eustachian tube is inflamed or plugged. I get some pain momentarily in my left jaw.

I hate waking up to left ear noise. I can’t get back to sleep so I get up.

The noise in my left ear is unbelievably loud. I can’t believe I’ve had it this long. I’m worried it’s barotrauma caused, not TMJ.

We all took a quiet head for granted. I thought the worse would be hard of hearing not tinnitus.

Ditto. Every once in a while the noise will travel left or right but quickly retreats back into the head.

Yeah, I put my Widex in and it seems left again. I’m going to trial & error dropping some prescription meds and supplements I’m taking. I know my left jaw is bad though.

I’ll try skipping my BP pill again today to see if it helps but I think noise is related to my bad jaw. At least I don’t have pain.

I’m not sure if prescription meds can affect tinnitus or not. It’s trial and error. I realize it’s dangerous to skip prescribed meds.

A lot of them can. Antidepressants and benzos are some of the most notorious for worsening tinnitus. Other types can also affect T.

The inflammation in my Eustachian tubes is likely from my bone on bone jaw. My noise seems lower using Flonase and then using EarPopper.

I think my Eustachian tube in my left side becomes inflamed. I’ve used my EarPopper several times this morning plus Flonase.

It’s 4:15 am and the noise in my left ear is extremely loud static. I hope a left jaw prosthetic fixes that. I won’t know for months.

Can you get an X-ray to determine that? Maybe it will find your answers.

I’ve had imaging of my jaw and neck. My left jaw is bone on bone. I decided to go ahead with the prosthetic TMJ as one TMJ surgeon said it’s likely causing my left ear noise. I made a payment recently to get the prosthetic TMJ made. It could be inner ear damage. I have Widex Moment HA. I have not tried Lenire yet. Lenire.com has some testimonials.

I'm curious about tmj myself. I may get those X-rays this year. I would stay away from Lenire but to each their own. The science behind it doesn't solve Tinnitus but that's my own take on it.

I always felt that static was soothing, kind of like my own white noise. A lot of the T reducing modes from hearing aides use static to mask. Tonal irritates me, but not as much any more.
