Hi
Been living with Tinnitus since 96-97. Somewhere in there... The cause was most likely loud noise or possibly even from an inner ear infection. I not only attended many concerts and punk show 1985-1992, but in 1993 I started doing safety for sports car and IndyCar racing. At some point in 96-97 I had an inner ear infection followed by a period of bouts with vertigo. I cane out on the other side with Tinnitus.
My left ear rings (screams) 24/7. I used to be lucky and would have periods that is was like an old transistor AM radio slightly off-station. Anymore it's screaming like mad all the time. When it's really bad it's like a tornado siren. Unfortunately my right ear has recently began ringing as well. The thought of going deaf does scare me a bit...
