My dr just prescribed it with ambien to help sleep. Been dealing with a flair up and was curious if anyone had side from it like increased tinnitus?

I have had mine for 7 years, just seemed to arise from no where during a stressful time. I noticed after a shower my tinnitus will temporarily lower, and at work I can spray water into a 5 gallon bucket and after about 10 seconds of that my tinnitus goes super low to gone for a few minutes...

Good question. I haven't tried it but a lot if people say Xanax lowers there's but for me it gets rid of anxiety but the next day my anxiety is always back 10 worse. Anyways FYI Xanax don't lower mine

I’m just curious if anyone has gone on it because of tinnitus. Sometimes, I wonder how much longer I’ll be able to work while dealing with this. I’ve had tinnitus for seven years. I have good days, but my bad days are so hard that I don’t know if I can keep going.

Just from my personal experience Xanax helps short term but I build a tolerance quick and I almost always get a flare up the next day. But that's just me, but maybe check and see if a few days off of Xanax see if you ringing goes down some.
