Still Trying to Solve My Tinnitus 7 Years Later, This Time with Neck Surgery

This year will mark the 7th year I have had tinnitus. I've recently learned this year that my neck has 4 herniated discs. Some worse then others. When this all started, it started with clear cut signs of neck issues (typical arm and shoulder pain) which I had no idea were neck issues. I've...

Dental Work (Including Drilling) & Tinnitus — Questions and Experiences

So I learned that my tooth, that I had a root canal done on, now has an infection. My tinnitus started the same night I had a root canal done almost 7 years ago. Unfortunately, even though the tooth is not hurting (the infection has been draining through a fistula for over a year now), needs to...

6 Years with Tinnitus — Two Videos I Created

Hey guys, I have not really been here a lot as I've not needed to come back for "Support" per se. I've sort of just been ignoring my tinnitus and going on with my days, without having to think about it or getting that urge to come here in a panic. I'm trying to catch up on some of the alerts...

Want to Continue to Share My Story

I'm still here but not necessarily active on this forum as I once was. I hope sharing my video helps a bit for my story. It's a few months old but it's still relevant today. Things are better for me but the "T" is still there. There are days where I just have learned to ignore it. Being in a...

Gone for 2 Minutes and Back Again

I'm 100% positive this has nothing to do with my ears. I never put myself in the situation for ear damage and it didn't come about at all during any concerts or loud noises. I only notice it though when it's really quiet now.

Gone for 2 Minutes and Back Again

I wish I knew why it happened. One night, it just started. I deal with chronic liver issues and have been on medication for it. Ever since I started the medication (Viread/Tenofovir), it has been reduced drastically. I suspect there is a big link there.

Gone for 2 Minutes and Back Again

That feeling that you get, when the T disappears for 2 minutes COMPLETELY without any reason... is amazing. There's the disappearing when you do TRT or masking or anything in particular to make it go away temporarily. Then there's this. You know that whatever happened, is almost gone. You know...

    2 Year Tinnitus Anniversary!

Nothing to celebrate about... however it's good to see that it's been reduced, A LOT. The worst was probably at 4-6 months in. Anyway, wanted to share and if anyone had questions feel free to ask. I did experience some relief a few times when I thought it went away. No such luck in keeping it...

    It Disappeared for 5 Minutes!

I usually stay out of damaging environments as much as I can. Believe it or not, my T did not come about after any loud noises. Odd, I know, but it's true. I have my theories.

    It Disappeared for 5 Minutes!

I loved every minute of it. The other day, I was sitting at my PC at home and decided to munch on some baby carrots. As I was munching, something interesting happened. The noise... it went away!! I was so happy about this. Granted, I have been severely reduced over the past year but this was the...

It Does Get Better — I Promise!

No real change from this past April. It's pretty much stayed the same but I'm dealing with it better and trying what I can to "get rid of it". I'm strongly considering Accupuncture for it but money is tight right now. The good news is, it's not bothering me at all so this is a big step in the...

It Does Get Better — I Promise!

It's been a while since I've checked on here, mainly because I haven't let my "T" bother me. I wanted to come in here to give some people hope and some thoughts to tell them that it DOES get better as time goes along. Just keep at it and keep trying to fight to discover the root cause of your T...

My Experience with Flying and Tinnitus

I just wanted to share with most. I've flown twice in the past month. This is the first time I have flown with T. The first time was up to Boston from NJ (and back). It was quick and painless. The second one was over to LAX. My T did spike a little but barely noticeable due to the noise from...

    It's Almost Gone!

I don't know how... and I don't know why. Unless it's really quiet, I can't hear my T! Not that I am complaining, it needs to be completely gone though. I just wanted to share some positive news. I know I was taking Tinnicare for about 2 months. I just stopped it for about 6 days while on...

Would You Pay $2800 for a Chance at Clearing Your Tinnitus?

Jeannie, just wanted to see how you're doing a month later with this stuff. Anything to share?
