  • thanks for asking. No I haven't. I'm having a really bad day today. I washed my hair for the first time in 2 weeks and I've caused a major spike. I was on antibiotics last week and I took a sleeping tablet every day with the 7 day course. Last night was my first night off antibiotics and sleeping pills and I only slept for about an hour. Think I'm hooked on the sleeping tablets even though I only get about 4 hours sleep with them, its still better than the usual none or one hour.

I'm demented with this. I fight suicidal thoughts every day. I'm seeing a private audiologist who specialises in hyperacusis but that too is really extreme. I just don't have the energy to kill myself but this is so difficult to live with. Are you better? How do you cope with this?

I´m sorry to hear that, seems very hard to deal with. I recognize the feeling, for the first year i was struggling alot. I hade pulsating tinnitus and hyperacusis, hard to sleep. Tried strong sleeping pills, but i got hallucinations so i had to quit. Now i have propavan. My pulsating tinnitus dissapered after i got my blood pressure better. Still have tinnitus. My sleep and hyperacusis was better after one year. Was doing alot of things outside and started training and took pre workout,b5,b12. Now i have tensor tympani after my gerd operation, its impossible to get uses to. But with pottasium, magnesium, muscle relaxant, its dissapers after around 5 hours.

I think you can get better to, hope you get better soon:)

Im 53. My scalp actually feels like it is on fire. Im really scared that this wont stop. I had a migraine a few days ago too. Not sure if taking an antihistamine known to help with sleep has made things worse
