Can You Habituate to Ultra-High Frequency Tinnitus (> 15 kHz)?

Hi, I’m sorry to hear that you’re dealing with tinnitus. From what I’ve learned, tinnitus caused by acoustic trauma often resolves on its own, especially since you’re still very young. Although this is a difficult time for you, try to find ways to distract yourself. When my tinnitus is really...

Xenon Pharmaceuticals' XEN1101 — Kv7 Potassium Channel Modulator

It depended on the level of tinnitus on that day. I would say that Trobalt reduced my tinnitus to a lower level. My tinnitus varies between 10 (level of driving me crazy and being fully handicapped) and sometimes down to 5 (only one tone on the left side and more of a hissing). I had very few...

Xenon Pharmaceuticals' XEN1101 — Kv7 Potassium Channel Modulator

I was one of those who took Retigabine (Trobalt). I still have it available, but it is long expired. I took it in "Aspirin Mode" when I was in really bad shape and had to function, meaning I had very loud tinnitus and an important appointment or something else. Trobalt reduced the tinnitus to a...

Yes, I can comprehend. Same here. But it keeps me believing that one day, T is lower or gone and I can "Enjoy silence" again. My favorite song is now everything with crickets. :-)

Levetiracetam (Keppra) — Another Possible Potassium Channel Modulator?

Your tinnitus sounds similar to mine. Very difficult to handle every day. I took Trobalt some years ago and it helped for a few hours after each dose. I stopped because of the side effects. I have not taken Keppra since I don't have hyperacusis. What helped me to some extent, was Escitalopram...

    Cannabidiol (CBD) — Epidiolex

I have read a story about getting rid of panic attacks, anxiety and depression with CBD oil. The story can be found on https://www.meinwegausderangst.de/mga01/. But it is in German. I hope that also tinnitus can be reduced by using CBD oil or it least makes me calmer. I have ordered the CBD...

I guess it comes with an "Apple" logo now. ;)

New University of Michigan Tinnitus Discovery — Signal Timing

I am not here that often these days. What is the roadmap (trials, release dates etc.)? When can we expect to have final trial results and "real world" experiences? Thanks in advance.

Sounds promising. What program change do you mean exactly?

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

If I can borrow the device in my area in Germany, I will give it a try. But I won't spend money on it. But the problem is that my tinnitus fluctuates. It can be better some days, even weeks and then catastrophic again. So I won't even know after 6 weeks if Lenire had any effect. Still waiting...

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

Better to spend your money on BioNTech stocks than on Lenire. Lenire is useless. I can remember ONLY one person on the forums that had an improvement. If you can get your money back, do it. Best regards (aus Essen), Martin

New University of Michigan Tinnitus Discovery — Signal Timing

Sorry being a downer here, but I have not much hope that Dr. Shore's device will be available soon. Neuromod published a product in much less time. OK, it is not really working. ;) But what is so difficult about getting Dr. Shore's device finished? They have been doing tests and trials...

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

The webinar just finished. There was not much new for most of us. They presented the Lenire results from the Neuromod studies. Q&A was about costs, treatment length, treatment locations etc. They also presented some slides about what tinnitus is, where it manifests in the brain, that it is a...

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

Got an eMail from Lenire® <info@lenire.com>: For the Germans (I guess the presentation will be in German language), there is a Webinar planned by two tinnitus experts in Germany. They are talking about Lenire. They do some presentations about "promising results" with Lenire. They explain how...
