Maybe somehow there is damage to the tubes connecting the ears and throat [eustachian tubes] or mastoid bone was infected like mine was. My tinnitus seems like it's always been there.

I thought everyone had a ringing in their ears. I never knew any different. Came here to read up on stuff. And what I can do. Doctors thought I should be deaf in my one ear because of the mastoid infection at 2years. Family story, as I almost died. A doctor must have seen damage a few years...
