Tinnitus will wear you down and ultimately causes other illnesses. It has to me. Hyperthyroidism, neuropathy and now pancreatitis. I battled and fought yet I can't seem to get a hand up. Insomnia, anxiety and depression are other issues that keep coming. I'm exhausted. God bless.

Any antibiotic can have an effect on tinnitus. It depends on the individual and the type of tinnitus one has.

I have the same issue. Heart rate is around 85-105. Go for a walk then it shoots above 120. Have you found a med that helps relax the heart rate?

Stay away from cipro...

SSRIs have been the worst for me. No messing around with them. Tapering up and down slowly is a must...

Has anyone found meds to take in the place of Atenolol? I've done a lot of work referencing even American Tinnitus Association. For blood pressure meds this is what I found to be safe. Felodipine, Levobunolol and Sotalo. They also come recommended by various ear specialists... if anyone knows...

My heart rate is speeding up. Before I took Atenolol without any tinnitus related problems. Now it causes more tinnitus. Is there a med like Atenolol that isn't ototoxic. Please let me know. Thank you.

Atenolol is bad news for tinnitus especially in later illness...
