Sandy Murohy

I started noticing the ringing in my ears one night driving home from work. I was doing a large international project with crazy deadlines .I'm an architect in often listen to music while I was working. I remember telling myself that this noise must be the sound of stress. Then in 2008 I was walking out of a small office building, I look down at the books I was carrying and ran into a glass door that had no decals of it . I was thrown back and from that day on I've had 24/7 very loud screeching in my ears. I equate it to screeching violins, it's awful. I try not to put my attention on it but it's always there and I feel hopeless and sad. I always had a happy disposition and it has really affected me. I distract myself by keeping busy because when I stop I notice the screech ...I'm hopeful that by joining this group I will get some relief with new tools to cope. I miss being outdoors and having peace and quiet. My Family is kind and understanding. What I have begun reading here, so far, is starting to make me feel better. I know the benefits of being in a group ..I am glad that I sought out help and found you all.
