I was born near deaf from nerve damage and have have suffered of tinnitus throughout my life. Ive been in sales, plumbing ,hairdresser , beauty shop owner , I've studied nursing and worked in rehab sports medicine . I have 3 kids with 10 grandchildren. I lost my husband 9 years ago and now I'm primary caretaker of my 80 year old mother. I now suffer from depression, fibromyalgia and severe tinnitus. My family are the real reason I'm still alive. They've seen me suffer in pain and panicky. My hopes and prayers are for a cure for everyone but also for the future ones. I pray for just 1 moment of peace . I want back my life and to have complete control over tinnitus and my body. I want to visit my family during the holidays and not excuse myself for wearing noise isolating head phones that make my ears sweat. I want to sit with a group of friends, spend time with my grandbabies and have fun talks without, running away because the sound of their voices hurt my ears.. Now I ask you , is that too much to ask, too have a life that I can at least live in peace . 1 out 10 people suffer from tinnitus . What's taking so long to find the cause. My physical body is showing signs of stress and I am aging quicker than most. What's taking so long , because my time ending on Earth is coming to a halt very soon whether naturally or by choice. What's taking so long , can't you hear what I'm hearing, does anyone hear what I hear?
