    i wish I never took silence for granted

    I think this is something every single person here on Tinnitus Talk has thought at least once a day ever since their tinnitus set in. There are warnings for just about everything out there, it's a shame that nobody has thought to warn about the fragility of our ears and what a life without silence can do to a person's mental health.

    Tbh I never did. I always loved silence. Even as a teenager I would spend hours just walking out in the middle of nowhere listening to all the little sounds here and there and the space between. It was sacred to me.
