Even if it does return, silence is a huge good sign. My T went away intermittently before it left for good.

Yeah, at least in my case, it doesn't have to be loud.. it just has to be consistent white noise. It fueled my T.

I had something like this. Do you use a fan at night or an air conditioner? Mine went away once I eliminated white noise while sleeping.

That poor guy. Thank you for posting this, OP. The sheer brutality of this condition (for many people) needs to be in the spotlight.

Agree with the OP. If my toilet wasn't working and the plumber arrived and he said "whelp, I'm not gonna fix your toilet, but here's some therapy to help you adjust to your new life of shitting in the woods".. guess what, he wouldn't be a plumber for very long. Because that industry isn't full...

It's usually an unwise option. But it is an option. It'll hurt those who love you if you do it, but your life is your own and you are not required to suffer for anybody.

Wow. I too had tinnitus, once, but I must have missed the part where it gave me omniscient knowledge of everyone's tinnitus ever.

I got it and regretted it. Brain looked impeccable. Noise wasn't too bad (earplugs!) but MRIs do cause radiation which increase the odds of future brain troubles.

In my case, I would have figured out the solution to my T much faster than the 4 YEARS it took if I hadn't seen a worthless ENT.
