Thank you and thanks for clarifying! What I mean is that the couple of times I heard the whooshing in my ears was only in the situation I described which was never after or close to when I exercised. When I've been exercising and getting my heart rate way up I do not experience the pulsatile...

My resting heart rate is actually normal/low, averaging 60 beats a minute. I only experienced the pulsatile tinnitus for a few seconds a couple of times and not right after exercising. I wish I lived in the UK. I am in the US.

Sorry you got C Diff from an antibiotic. I did as well. I also got tinnitus (high pitched) from having to take Vancomycin, oral, to treat the C Diff. My PCP insisted it was IMPOSSIBLE to get it from oral vs IV Vancomycin. Two ENTs did say it was possible (as does the fine print inside the box)...

Good news. My spike ended two days ago and I've been baseline since! I will be getting dose #2 as planned. If I spike again, maybe it will last longer but I'm trusting it too will go away.

He is my second opinion ENT. The first brushed off any possibility that any of the COVID-19 vaccines could cause tinnitus, and that was when I met with her before getting my vaccine. So, yes, the brush off!
