I have the same thing. It stops when I press on my neck! From that article it says that it should go away, I've had mine for 16 years..

I've had it for 16 years now. It never goes away for me, I've never gone to a dr about it though. But it is constantly whooshing in my right ear with my pulse. I'm sorry you have it, I have read that if they can find a reason it's curable

Hi, I've had pulsatile tinnitus for about 16 years. I am just now going to get it diagnosed and hopefully find the underlying cause. I was just wondering does yours go away when you push on your neck and if so, have you been diagnosed? Thank you so much for any response. I am new to this forum...
