My name is Volker Zipp. I am 68 years old, retired, worked till 2015 as an IT engineer (systems programmer with mainframe computers).
I have diagnosed MS sind 1982 and tinnitus since 1988.
Annoying in the beginning, but I was able to integrate the tinnitus well into my life over 33 years. Several mostly not so strong
aggravations since then.
Dramatic deterioration since March 2021 during a temporary depressive phase with psychosomatic complaints. Got psychotropic drugs for some weeks and a hard psychotropic drug (SSRI), which obviously led to the current bad aggravation (possible side effect according to the package insert). And only now I consulted an ENT specialist.
Have the feeling that my life is changing dramatically since then and want to participate in your experiences. Maybe when I should be able to live well with the tinnitus some day, I can give my experiences back to you (hopefully!)
