It has gotten better, on the left ear(higher pitched, less loud baseline, easier to ignore), right ear has been pretty much the same since sound exposure in swimming pool, a sound that fluctuates non-stop and causes me the most distress and sleep-less nights.

I'm still paranoid about exposure to normal sounds, wearing earmuffs all day, although I feel the ear sensitivity has improved.

I'm still having suicidal tendencies, but have realized I'm too scared to die so I will never act on it.

I have not gone back to work for these past 5 months, mostly sitting at home, working out, taking vitamins, going outside for a walk when it's fairly quiet.

So I guess the plan at the moment is to start living again, not in an inner prison - exposing my ears a bit more, and go back to work despite all the negative feelings.
