So correcting the original problem also corrects the tinnitus. This shows if there was a cure for hearing loss that it may help hearing loss induced tinnitus.

That is correct Contrast. In my cases (but not all) people with hearing loss, once fitted with a hearing aid/s find the tinnitus reduces quite significantly.
