Sounds that bother other H people don't. Dishes, for example, are not a bother. But speaker sounds. Phone, TV, computer, anything artificial provoke my pain.
I've been trying. I tried watching a movie with my SO last night. I pushed myself and could only make it half way through. Afterwards I was in so much pain I feel setback again.
I can only speak for myself and indeed everyone else can only do that too. You are helpful but there is no guarantee others will respond to gradual reintroduction like you.
