@dpdx yes, it shows a flat line up to 16 kHz at 10 db in both ears...
I have slight speech in noise issues however online tests give me around 80-85% recognition. Can't find a local test at the clinic.
You prob damaged your inner hair cells. Speech in noise is a test that determines the function of inner hair cells. My DPOAE have damage in one ear, but both ears have mid hearing loss in noisy areas.
Speech in noise issues with perfect audiogram are a sign of hidden hearing loss. In that case, the damage is not in the hair cells, and it is located in the neurons connecting to them. It supposed to be a different kind of damage. Same prognosis though.
