Tinnitus Talk Support Forum

You know what they say! Recovery comes in waves, but once you notice it fading, however slow, there's no reason why it would stop fading!

I hope you're right. I hope you are doing well, too.

I honestly have more respect than ever for those who have bad T (e..g 70-80db drills, etc). Why these people are left to their own devices instead of being treated like cancer patients, I do not know.
Bob den Hartog
Hey, with this fading thing you got going on, this neuromod thingy might be released too late for you to still have T!
Drone Draper
LOL. Well, that would be a FINE way to throw away some Euros.
Bob den Hartog
Yeah, same. Can't even imagine what that's like. The worst thing is the frustrating helplessness. If you can do something about a situation, to fight it, however bad, that helps so much with your psychological state.

Hehe, just put aside the money, and if you happen to not need it anymore nu then, use it for something else. Big ass tv. Holiday. (Looks at avatar). Hookers. Something.

I would like to be more involved with helping the cure for tinnitus in future, I would probably give the money to Tinnitus Talk as a donation.

Nice. Have contemplated something along the lines (well, in addition to a 4K tv, of course, and a determination to live life to the fullest). But as I see it, if this genuinely helps many people, if I bought it and it would turn out not to help me, at least I financially supported a company that helps others. And since apparently the trials already significantly helped dozens of people, they deserve that support.
Drone Draper
Totally. If I get it and it does NOTHING, I would ask for it to be recalibrated and give it to another TT member for free.
Bob den Hartog
Good idea. If that'd be possible, will do the same. In well aware I'm fortunate enough to purchase one, while others around here might need it more, with more limited funds (though I have a friend who might benefit as well, might check him first).
Drone Draper
Yeah, absolutely. I don't mean to brag, but I can afford it pretty easily based on what the cost is purported to be.
Bob den Hartog
Same. Just got offered a contract, so no longer a freelancer, more financial benefits. I'm seeing this as an investment into my career.
Drone Draper
Wonderful! It so is, I'm sure tinnitus even negatively impacts life expectancy because the quality of your sleep decreases.
Bob den Hartog
Hey hey hey, let's not remind ourselves of that! <heads over to succes stories thread to cool down>
