I'd expect Neurotologists to follow this, not audiologists.
Audiologists are basically technicians. They perform tests and fit hearing aids. Same as a guy that runs the MRI machine.

Yeah, this is what interests me. Obviously I would like to try Neuromod, but the local audiologists haven't even heard of it.

did your audiologist at least take an interest in and file it down for a future reference like oh this can help. if not, they're a horrible audiologist. if you have a good one, they'd wanna learn and provide w/e they can to help you.
hopefully there's a good one somewhere in your area. though if you're going to reputable ones then that's just.... sad...
guys, I hate to say it - but audiologists have seen many treatments come and go. they may not dig into every one b/c this excitement has happened multiple times before. T is new to you, not them.
She didn't have the slightest interest. She said there were many companies in this industry (to my knowledge, bimodal stimulation is pretty small?) and none of them have proved success in large studies.
if this gets FDA approved and works even 15% of the time, some pharma sales rep will be in their door every 3 days. they dont need tos tay on top of this.
she is referencing the ACRN companies. which is 1/2 the teratment.
temper your expectations gentlemen. bi-modal was tried before with sound + vagus nerve. T still exists.
