Have you used an electric toothbrush?
Strife_84
Yes. Last night when I washed my tinnitus was unaffected.

My T was caused by an electric toothbrush coming into contact with the opening of my ear canal. In any case, if your T spiked after you used that toothbrush, you might consider not using it again. Perhaps you will become more resilient in two years' time, but right now it appears that your ear can't take the vibration...

It does not spike that much. It does get louder but I can manage it twice a day. Teeth are important too!

A T spike is your body's way of signalling to you that what you are doing is not ok (this signal is similar to pain).

You can use a manual toothbrush. If you begin hitting a wall with a hammer, eventually you will get to see the objects on the other side. Just because your T spikes are temporary after you use the electric toothbrush, doesn't mean that eventually one of the spikes won't end up being permanent.

I have to be able to live normal life. ENT told me not to use even earplugs outside and I there is much more noise outside than my toothbrush does. My tinnitus increases a bit even if I use faucet. I appreciate the concern. But last night when I washed I got no spikes etc. So that was a good sign :) I do my best to avoid loud noises though
