Running increases blood flow, which heightens my tinnitus, but it is temporary, and dissipates in about 30 mins or so. Do not stop running or exercising as a result! These effects are generally transient in everyone I've spoken to who has T.
Good! I've read some people that stop exercising, drinking coffee, eating anything that's got sodium, etc because of T. I think maintaining as much of your life pre-T as you can should always be the goal.
@Drone Draper I think that is the right way yes. If we let T control too much our lives, we become even more miserable. Of course if caffeine makes T much worse or so, it may be wise to cut it off, but i have not noticed anything.
The only things I've changed of note are that I don't go out to clubs/concerts anymore. I've maintained mostly everything else, but sleep is the Big One. I read people quit their job, stop studying etc. Don't fall into this trap.
Well, i dont have a job. And honestly I dont know if i can do job in a condition like this. I am super tired. I had enough sleeping problems before T. Clubs and concerts i've never been much so i don't miss out on those.
@Drone Draper I've been diagnosed with cyclothymia, and I managed to cut off alcohol 3 months ago. But I am afraid this will make my cyclothymia symptoms worse...
It's not necessarily a trap, for some people it's simply not possible to continue those things (at least for some time) if their conditions don't get better. But Strife_84's tinnitus is so new, it can still get better, nothing's set in stone yet!
