Only one of my ears reacts to noise, which is strange.
One of my friends has unilateral T caused probably by ototoxic meds. She doesn't protect at all, goes to concerts and so on. Hers hasn't changed in 11 years. Mine reacts even to having a shower. I guess, it really depends on the cause of your T.
