I can easily hear up to 17.5k on very low levels. Gotta crank it up to hear until around 19k. Both ears seem about even. I haven't tried doing it too loud as I'm too scared. Don't get how having this kind of hearing can lead to such severe tinnitus, honestly. What caused your T?

@ASilverLight Have you run that test on proper speakers that cover the whole range completely? Even headphones have problems with this, because even with headphones I couldn't hear 20khz, but with studio monitors I can hear 20khz as loud as any other frequency. I still don't know what caused my T, I just know it happened after I got sick from drinking alcohol at high altitude.

@ASilverLight I theorize in my case that my blood pressure got so high from that event and irritated some nerves, messing with the balance in my auditory cortex which resulted in faulty neuroplasticity that just can't resolve due to a constant feedback loop.
