we've tried amitriptilyne (never again), topiromate right now which I want to get off of because I literally never feel hungry ever and have to force feed myself. and I just barley got on propranolol two days ago too. This is my third med and when I get terrible side effects (because I will for sure) then my insurance said I can get botox! 
The propranolol is gonna lower my blood pressure like crazy but I already have really low blood pressure and get dizzy spells so they said as soon as I start passing out I can stop taking it and call the insurance, tell them go to hell, and to pay for the $600 botox every 3 months for the presumable future. I'd say that's a pretty fair price to pay.
But I don't know if I'll keep taking meds while doing botox, I'll bring that one up to Doc. Thanks honey
Np! My dr. wanted to put me on propranolol but I refused and found some luck with magnesium (still had to take almo but less frequently). I advise to tell them you're taking it (but don't), if you don't really want to. it doesn't sound like it would be good for you anyway. Best of luck!
Oh tell me about it ;D I went in for an emergency appointment today and they told me no matter what pretty much in one week I can call and tell them I hate it.
They already filled out my botox papers because I started crying in the middle of my appointment (I had to drive 30 minutes and driving hurts my ears too bad) so they're like honey as soon as you call we'll tell the insurance to go to hell and get you botox ASAP.

Sorry to hear about your b.s. with the specialists. It's such hard work just to get them to care. I feel your pain, my migraines are chonic too.
And yeah, life is nothing but misery, but at least she's beautiful.
