I know this is such a nightmare. I'm hoping with a little time and rest from noise things will improve. I already had to leave a couple places due to sensitivity. I just can't imagine living the next couple of years like this. I love traveling, I go to Aruba every year. It's so heart breaking :/
Hi @tbuzz89 ! Just wondering if you are taking NAC and if it's had any affect? I'm not sure if I want to add more pills to my arsenal! I lived in Hartsdale for a while - my husband was born in Yonkers! Not quite the city, but I really miss his family! :)
I had a very mild background noise in quiet rooms for years but it never bothered me since I couldn't hear anything 99.9% of the time. Over the last 5 years or so I'd get fleeting tinnitus about once a month but that's pretty common.
@LilSass I've been taking NAC daily for the last 10 or so days. I'm not sure if it's helping or not. Hartsdale is nice! That whole area north of NYC is great. I'm from Long Island but always loved Westchester.
@Tara Lyons the last two days have been difficult. Not handling the T well and lots of depression/anxiety. My high pitch T follows the rhythm of my heartbeat which makes it so difficult to get used to.
@LilSass I'm not sure, but since the start this buzzing tone has moved with my heartbeat. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow to tell her that - at this point I think I'm ready and willing to get every test possible. Thanks :)
I think that's a great idea! I know for myself I need to explore every possibility - then at least I know I did my best. If it's something that can be improved then we need to do it. Best of luck at the doctors!
How was your night?
