What happened to you? How long have you had that T spike?
S
Hi @Bill Bauer. Had ear fullness, ache and pains since 2 seconds of loud noise. Ear sometimes feels numb and tingly. Today it's blocked nose and ear. Only right side. Problems driving me literally crazy.

Worried gentle valsalva made it worse. So stuck in a constant loop of self blame.

Ps. No tinnitus really. The tinnitus I did have was mild but seems to have gone away after this incident!

This ear fullness is not the same ear fullness you get during a flight. This ear fullness is a sign that you hurt your ear. The good news is that for the Vast majority of people ear fullness eventually goes away. Ears are slow to heal, so this could take 6-12 months.

I had a similar thing happen to me - an acoustic trauma that has lasted only a fraction of a second resulted in ear fullness. I also suspect that me overdoing Valsalva maneuver might have caused damage. I had some hearing tests done, and I T has turned on that evening, and basically caused me to lose 2 years of my life. My ear fullness was gone after 3-6 months.
