  • Low pitched droning whenever I sleep. Sometimes it stays the next day. Can't tell if its something besides T due to SNHL
Couldn't sleep at all last night.. also approaching the one month mark on my spike. I'm afraid this is gonna be permanent

Have you tried using sound masking?

@Bill Bauer I've tried and will continue to try sound masking.. I've got both a high and low-pitch tone which makes it kinda hard to mask both. I do find the low-pitch to be more annoying surprisingly

The idea is not to make the masking so loud that you won't hear your own T any longer. The idea is to give yourself something else to listen to besides your T. The sounds of crickets work well for high pitched T.
Does anyone else have a tone that specifically happens at bedtime? Mine sounds like a loud droning fan

yup . you still have it ?

No, mine has stabilized into tones that I hear all day. I can't tell if its better or worse than previous, but it does bother me less.

i used to have loud drone 12 months ago, but since i keep my drone ear busy with very soft drone-like-whitenoise all night I don't hear it anymore (I only get it back after car ride, but then I have to go look for it in a silent room and even then it ll start stuttering after 2 mins before coming to a complete stop)
