It's still here. Some days it gets worse again. Once it got a little better, then it got worse again. It's bad now, but not as bad as the first one.

I am so sorry to hear that. Mine improved a bit but the progress is so slow that I even start to believe the improvement is only imagination..

When did the dysacusis begin, how many months has it been?
angelsissi
T and dysacusis started five months ago. My dysacusis does not react as much to dishes (especially porcelain) as it did in the beginning. But rushing water really is the worst for my ear!

Have you suffered acoustic trauma?
angelsissi
The cause is unknown, sadly. I used to listen to music louder than you should but not daily. The symptoms started in the evening before going to bed. During my first tinnitus-days I did not even notice that I also had a dysacusis. But I think, it started all together.

Mine started 5 months ago. My tinnitus is high. An employee at my workplace set me up. Suddenly it gave a loud noise to my ears. I hope someday he will experience what he did to me. I lost my job because of him, I lost my health :(. I learned that I should not trust anyone. I hope we both get well.
