Normally I love Coen Brothers' movies, but I didn't "get" Hail, Cesar.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs has made a huge impression on me, though! I interpret the message of the movie as "the United States has passed away". :(

I only watch horror films & cult classics really, so probably no good at suggestions.

I recommend "Wolf Children"! It's a Japanese (avaiable in english too) animated film about motherhood and giving your children the chance to carve there own path. A personal favourite of mine.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is a collection of seemingly unrelated short stories/episodes. One of them (the one where the protagonist travels across the country to the West Coast) is as emotional as it gets (also as good as it gets). I guess the other one featuring Liam Neeson is also somewhat emotional.

@Steph1710 I love horror movies. I watched a large number recently, but unfortunately none of them impressed me. The only one that stuck with me was

(I had fast forwarded through the animated sequences, but perhaps it was a mistake to do so.) I have mixed feelings about it, but I guess in certain light it is not "same old".
