Yes, absolutely. This is not unusual as the hyperacusis is a symptom of underlying hearing loss in many cases-- same with tinnitus. Even for ppl with no measurable hearing loss, we likely have damage at higher freqs or synapses.
@serendipity1996 crazy. I saw somewhere refering to hearing loss as "hypoacusis" indicating that hearing loss is exact opposite of hyperacusis. So I thought having both diagnoses is not possible. Oh God if only I was true. Thankfully I personally dont suffer from any of these.
