Im 10M in i remember us getting it the same time due to the same reason. My hearing is fine and the ENT is useless as F. I have popping crackling clicking crunching and the ent said its not ETD because your eardrums move fine. He didn't even bother doing an endoscopy or a ear pressure test he kindly wasted my time and the NHS money on another hearing test as i already had one in october which came out fine.
I'm going to ask for another referral to another hospital.I also can feel something iin my inner ear and it sometimes feels sore. The ENT was very dismissive of my symptoms What test did your ENT do?
Yeah, I wouldn't waste your time with the NHS. You wait for months for a 5 minute phone call - never even met my NHS ENT. Go private if possible. My private ENT did a ear pressure test last year - confirmed the pressure was off, etc.
(My NHS ENT even told me ETD does not cause tinnitus! My private ENT confirmed it does.)
Yep - I regularly feel soreness and movement in my affected ear - like a living piece of clay. I'm convinced it's just stubbornly inflammed tissue - it's just difficult to "get at" and treat due to the skull being in the way.
Darn skull :S
OMG my ENT said that ETD doesn't cause T either. Funny thing is he was from a private hospital. He was dismissive of my symptoms. Were your eardrums fine or sore mine were healthy and said that u cant have ETD because your eardrums are healthy. Im just going to get another another referal. Did you request these test? I
I also can feel something stuck in my inner ear. All i need is an ear pressure test and an endoscopy. That will give me a peace of mind but the ENT said something like we don't have the facilities for that or something yet they were a privavte hospital
