@bethadtr good for you - that's what I've been doing. No earplugs even at bars anymore, only using them in super loud situations, and I've been fine. Life is too short…

@bethadtr This is just me, but I think it'd best to wear plugs whenever you have little control over the volume, such as when you're out and about. You never know when there will be a big bang.

But it's up to you. Would break my heart to see you have a setback.

@aot I understand, thank you for your concern. I am still careful, but I know my limits know. I've realised my T is more triggered by the proximity to my ears rather than the volume, weirdly. I was too careful at the beginning and wasn't living, my advice would be to stay vigilant but you're only on this Earth once my friend. X
