If you haven't felt sharp pain in your ears then it won't. In other words - unpleasant, but not damaging. I've been in this kind of situation lots of times. Nothing bad happened.
No pain after it. But it was so loud that i felt my left ear vibrating. I was stressing so much after the incident. And did a new hearing test today. Results are the same. But I am still a bit stressed as clntinued exposures to unexpected loud sounds like this can harm me in the long run
Don't be afraid @Martinf . The sound from a car horn (mostly between 85 and 100 db) is generally damaging to your hearing if you're exposed to it for more than a couple of minutes. Like many on TT, I almost have this situation on a day-by-day basis, and so far it hasn't done anything to my ears.
