@Farida Before I moved from home, we had roosters in a yard right outside my window. If I'd hear them crow without hearing protection and an open window, my ears would most likely be annihilated. If you run the risk of having them crow near you, keep hearing protection at hand, and keep windows closed. ;)

This is especially true if one has hyperacusis.

@Farida Don't worry. If it doesn't cause discomfort or spikes, it's nothing to worry about. It can be loud though, so I'd avoid it or use hearing protection, but don't stress it.
