@PortugalTheMan Definitely! If you're into costume drama, then it's definitely worth your time. Brilliant acting, wonderful camera optics, well-fitting music. It has all the good stuff. Go watch it! You won't regret it;)
@Steph1710 , I was bloody serious, especially about that KitKat. You have no idea how long I had to live without tasting that silky smooth chocolate. But the waiting is almost over!
@Damocles I guess context is key with niche things like V chocolate, so allow me to vegxplain;) The missing link is cow's milk; lactose & protein give chocolate that creamy texture. We vegans generally have 'milk' chocolate from rice powder, but it mostly tastes bitter. Not really a home run for our tastebuds! The guys at Nestlé got rave reviews for V KitKat as 'the real deal'. So that's the way the cookie crumbles;P
Appreciate the explanation @Christiaan. That sounds very interesting actually, might have to try one myself, just to see if I can detect any difference.
In any case, I hope they taste good for your sake, and will be glad you can once again join me in enjoying what I will agree is one of the world's best chocolate bars! (alongside Twix!)
Today I had an appointment at my ENT that I trust...he did a hearing test which showed no changes in comparison to my last one. That calmed me down a little bit But thanks for asking, I hope you're also doing well.
ey @Damocles , that love-hate thing is an interesting take XD Isn't chocolate the candy of love? Maybe you can split a KitKat next time with your old flame to relight the fire, if you know what I mean;)
@Hamsti That totally bums me out, but I would rather thank you for pointing out to this nifty research. I really thought Nestlé cleaned up its mess. And you know what? I'll join you in the fight to boycott Nestlé, so let's stick it to the man together;)
That's really good news ! It's comforting for me to hear you're doing alright. Btw, love your picture with your baby. Hope she's doing e-ok as well.
Yeah, I'm doing a bit better lately. Still have some issues like hyperventilating, but the T is definitely less of a monster than right after worsening.Soon I'll be back at work again. Things are looking bright & I surely wish it goes the same way for you too
